My Journey

When I started this journey, I was looking for something that would fulfill my days and give me a sense of satisfaction. I began taking online courses to learn how to take interesting photos with my iPhone. Mind you, I am NOT a photographer, but I discovered that even people like me, who enjoy taking photos, can learn to capture the world a little differently than just pointing and snapping.

This was the first step in my journey: learning to set up my iPhone camera in an interesting way, with the right lighting, to make photos appealing to the viewer. After much trial and error, I realized that what you see with your eyes doesn't always translate the same way on camera. You have to make photos unique and interesting and take a lot of shots until you somewhat master this skill. To be honest, I am still learning, but I am eager to share these special skills with you.

The second part of the journey was editing. It's rare to take a photo that will blow you away; even those may need some retouching, and that’s where the fun begins. I took more courses on photo editing and became hooked. I bought apps specifically for this purpose, such as Lightroom, Snapseed, TouchRetouch, FaceApp, and CapCut, and I started to have fun. Why so many apps? My go-to app is Adobe Lightroom Mobile, a powerful tool that becomes indispensable once learned. The other apps are designed for specific editing tasks, and I use them depending on the photo.

I have mastered many of them and am still learning as I go along, but the results have been fantastic. I am ready to share my knowledge and skills to help you make the most out of your photos. So, don't delete the photos that you think are not worth keeping—most of them can be transformed into spectacular memories. See some examples below of photos I initially thought weren't worth keeping but, with a little bit of love and patience, were recovered beautifully.
